We have now entered the
year 2010, and no doubt there will be further challenges for us to deal
with. But I am sure that you the members can rise to those challenges, and
together as a Branch we will strive to ensure fairness & stability for all
our members.
2009 was a very challenging year for the Branch, we
have lost a
number of members through Newstart. But there are still quite a few non
members out there, and we need those members to join the CWU.
The Branch would like to know of any non members, so
we can approach them and ask them to join.
Hopefully you the members, are now in
receipt of regular information, through e-mail, and through
the Website of course. I have now managed to bring the Branch database up to
date, but it is crucial that you keep the Branch informed of any changes in
your details. Most importantly changes of address, and if you are not
receiving e-mails.
Our Branch prides itself on our contact with the
members, and should there be a group of members or an individual not able to
obtain information we would like to know. As in other years there will be
many challenges ahead within the company's where we have members, so information
and contact is paramount.
